Here’s how to know if your cake pans are up to the standards:
Pick out cake pans that have straight side all around. Never buy pans with slightly slanted sides since you’ll be having a difficult time in decorating and layering your cakes. One side would be large than the other or one side could be higher than the rest. Importantly, it would not look appealing at all.
Choose pans that are fairly solid and a bit weighty. Flimsy and super light metal cake pans will only serve you once or twice if it does manage to bake a decent cake. If you are still confused as to what cake pans to buy, go for the obvious and pick out only branded ones.
